[prMac.com] Bangor, Maine - Hog Bay Software today releases FoldingText 1.0: Plain text productivity for geeks. Organize with plain text outlines. Use modes to embed specialized behavior such as todos and timers.
Organize with plain text outlines. As you type, FoldingText auto-formats your document into sections, lists, and paragraphs using Markdown-based formatting. Fold away sections to get a clear overview of your work. Expand them to see the details. Focus in on a section to hide everything else.
Use modes for specialized behavior. Add ".todo" into your outline and list items transform into todo's items with clickable checkboxes. Click a checkbox and the item is marked "@done" with strikethrough formatting. Add ".timer" in your outline to create a live multi-step timer. Enter times in plain text and use FoldingText to stay on-task and on-time throughout the day. Watch the linked screencast to see modes in action.
Plain text, organized into outlines, and specialized by modes. FoldingText provides a simple and uniquely flexible place to think and work.
