[prMac.com] Kulmbach, Germany - Time management is one of the most important things in our modern lives. Setting priorities and categorizing our day-to-day businesses helps us with getting more productive and using our most valuable resource at its best: our daily time.

The Eisenhower matrix provides a straightforward way of prioritizing your tasks by importance and urgency. The idea goes back to Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States and Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II. He once said "What is important is seldom urgent and what is urgent is seldom important".

This very concept is mirrored in Eisenpower for Mac. The app provides four digital notecards that are used to set priorities to your tasks. The matrix has two distinct dimensions: Urgent/ Not urgent and Important/ Not important. The important and urgent tasks should be done by yourself and as soon as possible. Tasks with lower urgency should be scheduled and done later. Urgent but not that important tasks should be delegated to others and last but not least there are tasks that should considered to be dropped. Because a very important part of time management is knowing when to say No.

Eisenpower not only helps with categorizing to-dos but also with delegating and getting reminded. Tasks can be shared right from within the app and reminders are also pushed to your iPhone so that you always can keep track of whats important.
