[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - Moiseum, developer of mobile apps focused on art and cultural education, crowdfunds its latest app DailyArt on a popular service appbackr. DailyArt is a free and ad-free iOS and Android app that every day publishes one piece of fine art with short info about it. In 8 weeks the app has attracted more than 12,000 users and collected many positive reviews.
"We are looking for $3,000 dollars. The current version of DailyArt is very simple and thanks to this small amount of money we will start some marketing campaign and push the app to the next level of development. The app collected magnificent reviews, every day I receive dozens of e-mails from our happy users - this is why we thought that the idea of crowdfunding could work for us" - says Zuzanna Stanska, Moiseum's founder.
DailyArt is crowdfunded on appbackr - a popular service named "a Kickstarter for apps". The rules are very simple - the service connects app developers with buyers (called backrs) who are interested in purchasing wholesale copies of the app in question. Developers get paid immediately, and backrs make a profit as the apps sell in the app marketplaces. So, for every $10 invested in DailyArt, the buyers get $13 in revenue.
Moiseum is currently developing the paid version of DailyArt with some new features, that will be paying the appbackr's campaign back. The pro iPhone version will have longer paintings' descriptions, availablity to add each piece of art to the favourites, and the advanced search. It will cost only $0.99. The appbackr campaign finishes on November 20th.
