[prMac.com] Moscow, Russian Federation - The newest update of ABBYY Business Card Reader, available at the App Store starting today, allows iPhone users to easily export contact information from photographed business cards to their accounts in the Salesforce(R) CRM cloud solution. The application quickly creates a new Lead and automatically fills the respective fields with contact data captured from the card. With ABBYY Business Card Reader 5.0, the iPhone users working away from their offices can make new contacts available to corporate databases in a single tap and free their time for more challenging and rewarding tasks.
"Our Business Card Reader keeps on developing in line with the dictates of the time. Now it ensures integration with the CRM system, most popular among business community, and provides the iPhone audience with simplified data entry and optimal ways to store contact information", commented Katya Solntseva, director of Mobile Products Department at ABBYY.
Salesforce users can connect their accounts with ABBYY Business Card Reader during its first launch (the registration data are stored within the program) and specify which contact fields will be filled automatically by the app and which ones manually by a user. Captured contacts can be edited when required and saved to Salesforce as a new Lead. For user convenience, images of recognized business cards that were already used for data export to the cloud are labelled with a special "cloud" icon
in the Business Card Reader archive.
Based on the ABBYY Mobile OCR Engine technology, the new version of ABBYY Business Card Reader can quickly and accurately "read" business cards in 21 languages, including multilingual cards. It also allows iPhone users to easily search for additional contact information on their contacts via social networks (Facebook(R), LinkedIn(R), Twitter(R)) and online maps.
