Collect app helps people remember every part of their lives in 2013

[prMac.com] Melbourne, Australia - The Lens Lab, producer of photography-focused mobile apps, has announced the launch of the Collect app for iPhone and iPod touch. The app helps people create a record of their lives by capturing one or more photos every day and presenting them in a monthly calendar format. Uniquely, the Collect app allows it's users to create multiple albums or calendars so they can capture photos every day on more than one subject that matters to them.

"People's lives aren't one-dimensional so having just one calendar to display your best daily photo often isn't enough," said Stuart Watson, Founder of The Lens Lab. "With the Collect app users could have a photo-a-day album for their kids and a different one for their best Instagram photos."

Remember Every Day in 2013:
Photo-a-day enthusiasts already know the value of collecting their important photos every day to visually document their lives. The practice requires discipline but technology like the iPhone in people's pockets makes it easier than ever to collect quality photos every day.

Standing out from other solutions, the Collect app enables users to setup multiple calendars for different subjects and collect one or more photos every day depending on their preference. Photos can be recorded with a caption, notes, and tags to ensure users can also recall important details behind each one. The app then presents each photo in a card-like display along with the date and caption.

"Starting out 2013 with the goal of collecting a photo every day should be fun not a chore," said Watson. "We've invested in a unique design and easy-to-use interface to make the experience of collecting photos every day an engaging and rewarding one."
