[prMac.com] Oslo, Norway - Learn with Jacob 1.0 is a fun and educational children's app for iPad, whose main goal is to increase awareness, interest and knowledge about food and the food's origin. A little boy named Jacob accompanies the children and explains correlations between nature, animals and people. The colorful child-friendly designs and consciously selected images of nature are professional integrated into animations and interactive exercises. This app is suitable for children between 2 and 6 years old.
On the field and in the mill, children are encouraged to harvest and grind while learning about different types of grains and the term of carbohydrates. On the farm, the children meet different animals, milk the cow, learn about the relationship between animals and humans, and get introduced to proteins. While picking fruit and harvesting vegetables, the children learn about vitamins in a creative puzzle. At last but not least they see healthy and unhealthy nutrition and accompany Jacob on a tour in the countryside to discover different sources of water.
This app is suitable for different ages. While the very young children can listen to animals, driving tractor and puzzle, the slightly older children utilize all the features and acquire factual knowledge about nutrition.
