Planet Patrol Game released for iOS and Android

[prMac.com] Cork, Ireland - Lumencode announced the release of Planet Patrol 1.0 for iOS and Android, a new game inspired by the old and much loved Moon Patrol game from the early 1980's. Very addictive with well designed graphics and smooth game-play, Planet Patrol involves much the same game-play as the original but with much improved graphics and many levels.
The game revolves around the defense of the planets in the Milky Way from attack by an alien force. They are trying to setup bases on each planet from which they can launch an attack on earth and conquer it. You must protect the planets from this alien attack! Use the accelerometer or buttons to control your ship and avoid:
* Enemy ships & missiles
* Cannon fire
Use your missiles to defend yourself and collect points by hitting the air and ground obstacles. Also try to collect as many atoms as possible for bonus points. Pass all the levels to unlock the next planet. Post you results to Facebook to challenge your friends

* Requires iOS 4.3 or later

* Android OS 2.2 and ARMV7
* The game is also optimized to work on tablets
