Yum allows users to organize recipes into categories, assign ratings, print with custom layouts and create shopping lists from a recipe's ingredients on their Macs. The new version allows users to copy recipes from their Mac to their iPhone and iPod Touch through a freely available iPhone application. The iPhone application allows users to read recipes and shopping lists on the go.
Free iPhone and iPod Touch app:
To copy recipes from the Mac to the iPhone and iPod Touch, users can download the free Yum iPhone application from Apple's App Store. Once launched, users can copy an entire recipe collection, categories or individual recipes to the iPhone from Yum on their Macs.
Recipes on the go:
The iPhone application allows users to read recipes on their iPhone and iPod Touch. This allows users to view a recipe's ingredients when shopping, and preparing recipes when on the road.
