[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Yam Yam: Puzzle Guardians is the 4th release from London based indie developer Shaz Yousaf under his studio name Honey Tribe Studios. Having complete creative freedom has allowed Yousaf to create an original gameplay experience that mobile gamers have not seen before.
Within the vibrant world of Yam Yam Forest players will utilise intuitive touch controls to flick different colour berries at colourless flowers. When matched to the correct colour the flowers grow and fill the gap in the path, allowing the adorable Lifeling characters to cross over and reach home. If they are left stranded, night comes and they will be taken away by the deplorable Darklings!
The twist with Yam Yam: Puzzle Guardians is that your characters are always moving. The trajectories that you need in order to hit the targets are constantly changing. Combined with the colour mechanic, this makes for a very engaging and original game experience.
Yam Yam is due for release on Thursday 9th May 2013 and will be out on iOS as a Universal, HD app which will play full screen all size iOS devices.
The small studio has previously found success with debut game Honey Tribe: Colony Collapse which has gone on to be downloaded more than 60,000 times. Yousaf hopes to build on this and that the originality and charm of Yam Yam will resonate with players and push it into the app charts.
Honey Tribe Studios are an independent development studio based in London UK. They create original titles and also offer game music development services for other indie developers. Their first release was Honey Tribe: Colony Collapse for iPhone. The iPad and Android version followed and the studio now has a new game in development: Ashley Ao, an anime inspired sci-fi action game. Copyright (C) 2013 Honey Tribe Studios. All Rights Reserved.
