Designed specifically to leverage the iPhone's unique capabilities, Lion's Play is a strategy battle between Lions and Buffaloes. Lion's Play is based on the deeply rooted Indian game Puli Judham (Gamble of Tigers) Telugu region (Andhrapradesh), or Adu Puli (Tamilnadu), and with alternative names in various parts of India.
Lions or Buffaloes will move after placing all the bets to the next connecting point. Lions can gobble up Buffaloes after placing all the Lion's bets. Lions gobble up is similar to checkers; Lions can gobble up Buffaloes in any direction. Buffaloes will win if they restrict movement of all the Lions. Lions will win if they restrict movement of all the Buffaloes or gobble up all the Buffaloes or based on Fixed Point Move rule.
"This game is famous in rural parts of India where farmers played this game in the evening after returning from field work" said Ravindra Singareddy, CEO and founder of Singareddy Info Tech. "When I was a kid, I use to watch over my father's shoulder while he was playing with other farmers. He taught me how to play the game. With the last couple of months in development, it's a joy to expose one of India's hidden treasures to the world. It is the first ever attempt to document this game."
Lion's Play dynamically displays the Lion and Buffalo count and features colored in-turn indication. It sports four types of game play as well as three levels of difficulty (Junior, Senior and Expert).

Lion's Play requires a little bit of thinking to win, however once users know the rules, Lion's Play offers endless gameplay. Users can set Computer versus Computer and observe game play to get a better understanding of how it works. Gamers who enjoy playing chess or checkers will find Lion's Play incredibly compelling.
