[prMac.com] Raaba, Austria - New "Onepoint 360" iPhone app version provides access to highly visual, offline-capable multi-project overviews.
Onepoint Software, the leading provider of integrated project and portfolio management (PPM) software, has just released "Onepoint 360", its new multi-project dashboard for the iPhone. The easy to use PPM solution onepoint Projects offers a solid feature set ranging from agile and formal project planning over monitoring and controlling to extensive reporting functions. The new iPhone app not only allows accessing onepoint Projects from the popular smartphone, but also stores the dashboard locally, so that all information is also accessible if users are not connected to the Internet. Onepoint 360 is available for free from the iTunes App Store.
Onepoint 360 is a multi-project dashboard app that was originally designed for the iPad and was now optimized for usage on the iPhone. Onepoint 360 shows tabular status information, effort and cost plan/actual comparisons, a multi-project schedule and Onepoint's unique project pipeline in a single info graphic-like view. Each area of the dashboard can be zoomed to full screen size by double-tapping the respective header area. Tapping onto a specific project name shows the most important information of the project in question. In order to be also usable in meeting situations without Internet access, the app synchronizes with Onepoint PROJECTS and stores the information on the device.
"iTunes download statistics show that our multi-project dashboard for Apple's iPad is already very popular among project sponsors and management," said Gerald Aquila, founder and CEO of Onepoint. "With the new iPhone-optimized version of the app we are taking the portability of the dashboard to a new level. We are especially eager to see how project and portfolio managers will use the app on their phones out on the field."
Onepoint 360 requires an Apple iPhone or iPad running iOS 5 or newer and is available as a free download from the iTunes App Store. Every user running the app also needs a user account on Onepoint Projects 10.3 Enterprise Server Update 2 or later, or access to Onepoint's Enterprise Cloud. Interested parties can experience the advantages of Onepoint's unique approach to integrated project management firsthand by requesting a free 30-day trial version via the Onepoint website.
