[prMac.com] Bournemouth, United Kingdom - Stopframe Ltd is thrilled to announce a substantial update to its revolutionary guidebook app, Guide for iPad, which adds a new look for iOS 7. Available today, version 1.4 sees new fonts, gradients, a new icon plus new artworks that reflects the upcoming iOS 7 from Apple. This update also introduces two new tutorials to the extensive amount of guidance and tips already included within the app.
iOS 7 has a whole new design that's packed with color, animation and layered effects. It's also introduces a new font - Helvetica Neue Light - which maintains the characteristics of the original Helvetica, but looks stunning on a Retina Display. Guide for iPad version 1.4 reflects these changes with new gradient backgrounds, a new icon, updated artwork, colors and use of Helvetica Neue Light. As a result, the app looks amazing on both iOS 6 and iOS 7 devices.
Version 1.4 of the app also introduces two new tutorials. The first reveals how to use Google Maps on iPad. Users will discover how to use Street View, get turn-by-turn directions and view local information. The second tutorial explains how to use Speak Selection. This accessibility feature enables the iPad to read selected text out-loud. It's particularly helpful for those with impaired sight, but also a fun way to relay messages to friends and family. Both tutorials are available at no extra cost via an app update for existing users.
Stopframes revolutionary app reinvents the guidebook with a modern, flat design that removes faux textures, bezels and gradients. Chapters are colour-coded, enabling users to instinctively navigate the app. Animated text fades and moves across the screen, and interactive content makes learning easy and fun.
By focusing on the user experience and stripping out unnecessary features, users will find it easier to focus on what's important: discovering new ways to use their iPad.
