[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Available now, the app Delivered 1.1 offers a simple, friendly and easy solution to manage personal and commercial logistics with usability in mind. The app is targeted at both users who deliver goods on a daily basis or run location based errands frequently. It allows users to add multiple addresses into a simple list that automatically organises them by distance, allowing them to easily see how far they are from each delivery. A unique app unlike any other!
In addition to this simple yet effective concept each delivery is assigned a unique reference number, it also allows the user to add and record additional information such as delivery notes, photo attachments, recipient's name & signature and the customers phone number.
Delivery notes allow the user to specify important information before, during and after delivery. Such as what time was arranged with the customer or what entrance to use when delivering the goods.
Photo attachments are intended to allow the user to take photos of the delivery items before and after the delivery, giving the user a proof of the items conditions throughout transit. It can also be used as a proof of delivery.
An important and common feature used amongst couriers is the ability to record the recipient name and signature, Delivered excels in this aspect by providing a smart signature panel allowing the customer to sign for their delivery within the app.
Customer phone numbers can be added to each delivery allowing users to simply tap to text or call the customer from within the app. When texting, a message is automatically generated allowing the user to quickly contact the customer with no fuss. This message can be edited in the apps settings. Users can also navigate to each delivery with the access to turn-by-turn navigation with a single tap.
The highlight of Delivered is the real-time sorting of deliveries. The list which displays all deliveries is sorted in order from closest to furthest in real-time. In addition to this the list is overlaid on top of a map which displays each delivery address and the users current location. The map automatically zooms in and out depending on how close the user moves towards each delivery allowing them to visually see their progress as they move around the city.
Once completed, all deliveries are saved to the users history allowing them to track past deliveries by date or reference number. Users can also save and manage multiple delivery lists and this is intended to allow users to easily load regular deliveries in one go without having to manually re-enter information.
The Quick Route feature allows users to simply add an address and get turn-by-turn navigation without having to fill out the delivery details, a quick route option getting them from A to B without going through C!
Delivered is now available for free with limited functionality. Users are able to unlock additional features from within the app such as the ability to save multiple delivery lists or attach multiple photos per delivery.
