[prMac.com] Wellesley, Massachusetts - PracticeBuddy is now available for iOS in both a free and paid versions. In all versions, an administrator can use the Admin section to personalize the student's experience, including the student's name, a prize for the student to work for, the number of lessons required to earn that reward, and the number of minutes per practice. Additionally, the admin can choose a design for the student's practice interface, pick which instrument the student is practicing, and optionally password-protect this area.
Each time thereafter when a student practices his or her musical instrument and successfully completes a session, the number of required practices is decremented and the student is one step closer to the promised reward.
A Premium Admin section is unlocked after purchasing PracticeBuddy Pro for $0.99 USD; in this area an administrator or parent can arrange for a recording of part of a student's practice session to be emailed to the admin. Push notifications can also be scheduled to remind a student to practice. PracticeBuddy Pro is a great way for parents and teachers to verify not only that a practice session has occurred but the quality of the session, as well as remind a student to practice.
PracticeBuddy and PracticeBuddy Pro are now available in the kids section of the Apple app store in the age 9-11 category. Parent gates protect all sensitive areas; we never share personal information.
In a special 'Talk Back' section, a curated playlist is available for students to download music relevant to their musical instrument to add further motivation to practice.
PracticeBuddy is the antidote to constant nagging on the part of parents of music students! By making practicing fun and enabling realtime session recordings, PracticeBuddy Pro offers a great toolset to the music teacher.
