By utilizing an innovative scribble technique, users can colorize black and white images or recolor photo images. New Color simplifies the process of updating images for that perfect shot by offering easy-to-use drawing tools. With the Draw icon, users can sketch inside the objects with a finger. Mistakes can be corrected with a simple tap of the Erase selection.
Like many commercial projects, New Color offers users a variety of ways to select color. In addition to preset colors, a color wheel and saturation present a limitless array of custom colors. Users can also utilize RGB (red, green, blue) sliders to fine-tune their color selection. The RGB sliders are predictive, illustrating in real-time what color will be created as the given slider is moved up or down.
"We are using our skills to reinvent software for household use," says Kevin Johnson, President and CEO of Huntington Phoenix. "This concept of reinventing software is so fundamental that even the corporate name incorporates these values by invoking imagery of the phoenix, a mythological creature that reaches a critical point in its life, then burns to ash, only to rise up anew, revitalized and ready for fresh experiences. New Color is our first product to fulfill this mission."
