All Out Software Releases Public Beta of Hana, the Web-app App!

[prMac.com] Hana is a Universal Mac OS X application designed for today's modern web workers to access their most needed web-apps. Using the Open Source WebKit browser, Hana works with any site that supports Apple's internet browser, Safari (versions 1-2.x). Hana takes away all of the superfluous features of ordinary browsers and leaves the user with just enough tools to get their work done!
A tab strip of applications replaces the redundant address bar and toolbar that only add confusion and clutter to the experience of using web-apps. Once a user sets up a web-app in Hana, the web-app appears in a tab and will remain there until the user deletes or deactivates it.
Hana has been in a semi-public Beta testing program for three months and is nearing completion. During this period, and for a short time after Hana 1.0 is released, Hana is available for $10 off the normal price of $19.91.
What are web-apps?
A web-app is a service or web site in which a person will do something other than simply read the content. Typically a web-app provides a way for the person to communicate with others or to create or edit content in some way. Notable categories of these are webmail, web calendars, photo sharing, photo editing, project management, word processing and more!

Obviously searching for web-apps can be done via the popular search engines. All Out Software, in fact, did just this to prime a new directory of web-apps for Hana customers to search. This directory will become available with Hana 1.0 later this month.
