[prMac.com] Barcelona, Spain - Francisco Jose Alvarez Cantero and Francisco Martinez Canovas, two Barcelona-based newcomers to the app development world, have just released their first game for iPhone: Lastic Chips. The game, which can be played alone or against a rival that shares the iPhone's screen, is about slinging chips with a rubber band into the rival's side, and complements its single player and two-player modes with a speed trial option.
Lastic Chips lite, which features 4 unlockable and uniquely-themed levels, is available for free, while the full version, titled simply Lastic Chips, features an additional 14 levels.
The game is highly accessible and encourages friendly competition, since its "board game" layout makes it ideal for local multiplayer action.
The game's levels all feature its signature chips and rubber bands, but vary from an ice rink-style frozen surface to a poker felt table or a backgammon background.
The first-time developers, who hail from the city of Sabadell, in the province of Barcelona, are eager to make a name for themselves in the world of app development, and also plan on releasing a version of the game for iPad soon.
Lastic Chips' frantic rubber band-slinging action will test your aim and timing to the max.
When the chips are down... flick 'em up!
