[prMac.com] Melbourne, Australia - Independent iBooks Publisher, Maximum Felix Media has released the second in a series of digital 'Flick Books'. Catch The Cheese!, a Flick The Pages Quick! Book, by Craig Haggis!, will be available in the iBooks Store from January 1st. Flick The Pages Quick! books attempt to reproduce in digital form the animated effect of a traditional, printed flick book. Flick or flip books use a series of gradually varying pictures, so when the pages are flicked rapidly, the pictures appear to animate.
Catch The Cheese! follows hot on the tail of the first in the series, Something Blue, which featured a squishy blue monster. This time a flying cheese teases a cheese hunter, in colourful images and funny verse, and the rhyme gives the novice cheese hunter hints on the best approach to catch a flying cheese. The book also takes advantage of the iBook's media rich platform, and features animation and sounds. Turn the volume up on page 40. It is also published in the OpenDyslexic font - a font designed with ease of readability for dyslexic readers of all ages. Although meant for 4 to 8 year olds, several parents have also been observed laughing at the cheese's antics.
