Pocket Whip Pro 1.0.1 released - Whip It Real Good

in Entertainment (E)

[prMac.com] Christchurch, New Zealand - App City today announces Pocket Whip Pro 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPod touch. This interactive entertainment app was created by movie director Ellory Elkayem ("Eight Legged Freaks", Warner Bros 2002) and is now available on iTunes. This tricked out version of App City's original Pocket Whip app uses iPhone's advanced accelerometer analysis to sense how the user is wielding the whip.

Users can move their iPhone or iPod touch from side to side, up or down or in a circular motion above their head to create various, realistic 'wooshing' sound effects or flick their wrist to 'crack' the whip. With Pocket Whip Pro, Elkayem has created three whip scenarios, all with optional mood music. The user is instantly transported into the role of Trail Boss, Lion Tamer or Coach Driver.

With Cowboy Whip, the user cracks the whip to trigger a virtual heard of cattle into a stampede. The user also has the option of adding Wild West music to complete the experience. With Circus Whip, the user cracks the whip and 'lion roar' sound effects and optional circus music instantly places the user in the role of Ringmaster. With Coach Whip, the user cracks the whip to trigger a "whinny" followed by 'clip-clopping' sound effects. Classical music can then be added to complete the experience.
