"I love the thrill of seeing someone progress on the drums and watching them develop as a musician," explained the book's creator, Philip Page. "I created the Drum Syllabus Series to help as many students as possible to achieve just that. As I develop both as a musician and as a teacher so does each instalment of the syllabus. My hope is that students can use the Drum Syllabus series not only to further their musical and technical skill but also to give them all the tools they need to express themselves on the drums."
