[] Rochester, New York - RoGame Software today is proud to announce the release of Music Study Bundle and Music Study Bundle HD for iOS, a most comprehensive set of tools for the modern musician. This feature-packed collection covers music theory with ChordLab and ScaleMaster, ear training with the venerable EarMan app and improvisation with BandMaster the original band in your pocket. Never more affordable these tools belong into every improvising musician's arsenal.

Bundles are a new option in the iOS App Store allowing customers to purchase a group of apps at a discount. Owners of one or more titles of a given bundle also have the option to buy the remaining titles at the same reduced price. Music Study Bundle and Music Study Bundle HD (iPad) fit this category very well since the included apps BandMaster, ChordLab, EarMan and ScaleMaster have been designed to work together. The understanding of chord - scale relationships is one of the cornerstones of the improvising musician's education. ChordLab and ScaleMaster address this topic from both angles and in depth. Ear training is regarded by many educators as the most important aspect of a well-rounded music education and EarMan has earned high acclaim in this regard featuring a full curriculum. BandMaster finally ties it all together by providing a virtual band to try out those new ideas and practice soloing.

BandMaster is the portable backing band with bass, drums and piano. It uses great sounding samples and offers many styles for each instrument. Song creation is a snap with 26 available templates and an add-on library of over 1100 well-known Jazz standards. BandMaster's comprehensive chord library supports American as well as European notation. Other features include global transposition for horn players and arrangers, adjustable time signature and transposition. Soloing is an art, but only practice makes the master and for that one should have the right tools.

ChordLab is the original harmony multi-tool. Music theory is often complex and correctly spelling a chord that may have sharps and flats, double flats or double sharps is not always easy. This is where the traditional chord books and apps become useless and ChordLab steps in. ChordLab involves the ear and showcases the finer shades of harmony available with each alteration, voicing and inversion based on the concepts of music theory. It is a great aid where chord spelling and voice leading are concerned but also delivers when a fingering for an unknown chord is needed. ChordLab supports all common clefs as well as TAB. It features virtual guitar and piano instruments, chord rating, automatic voice reduction, automatic root and fifth substitution, a virtual circle of fifths and high-end samples. For the guitarist it includes all common open and alternate tunings as well as alternate fingerings. ChordLab is very a unique tool for musicians, song-writers, professionals and music students alike.

EarMan is the original ear trainer for the road, an affordable, no-nonsense application that helps improve one's skills with a structured curriculum and fully customizable practice sessions. Completing a training session in EarMan takes about 1-2 minutes, only a fraction of a typical tutored lesson. All sessions are graded immediately and results are made available in the results section of the EarMan. Much thought went into the design of this application. There are high resolution playback samples, a "calm interface" designed to keep you focussed on the sound, interval songs to help memorize the base intervals, but above all EarMan is meant to be a constant companion.

ScaleMaster lists over 200 scale types in all keys and shows them in music notation. To help visualization ScaleMaster includes five virtual instruments (banjo, bass, guitar, mandolin and piano). These instruments feature overlays to show scale degrees or position of notes in the current scale. All stringed instruments fully support left-handed display, many standard and open tunings as well as varying string sets (4, 5, 6 string bass and 4 or 5 string mandolin). Designed for the beginning musician as well as the professional, ScaleMaster is an excellent tool towards advancement in theory and scales in particular, making it easy to look up a scale in seconds, getting a taste of the flavor of a particular scale by listening to it, or finding out how to play it on one's instrument.
