[prMac.com] Heidelberg, Germany - Starting today the Ring Menu Application for Mac can now be downloaded from the Mac App Store. It adds a circular menu containing apps, files and folders around the mouse cursor which responds to trackpad gestures and keyboard shortcuts.
"Ring Menu will change the way you use your Mac," said the developer of Ring Menu, Daniel Schroth. "Whether you use it as an app launcher or as a shortcut to your personal files and folders you will be surprised by its ease of use. It will speed up your workflow."
Ring Menu introduces a new gesture to the trackpad of your Mac: The three finger rest. Put three fingers next to each other on the trackpad for a short period of time and the Ring Menu will appear around the mouse cursor. Several other gestures as well as the option to open Ring Menu using keyboard shortcuts are also available.
The menu can be easily customized using drag and drop to add new apps, files and folders or to reorder the current menu items. Ring Menu comes in 6 different colors to match any wallpaper and taste. Ring Menu features a dynamic item zoom which magnifies the items under your mouse cursor. This makes sure that item selection is precise even when there are lots of items in the menu.
