[prMac.com] Houston, Texas - BigSprocket, LLC is pleased to announce Tourneys 1.1, an update to their popular poker tool for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Designed for the Internet poker player, Tourneys 1.1 puts the schedules of upcoming tournaments from the most popular Internet poker sites in the palm of your hand. It allows players to quickly find out what games are coming up on each site, without having to log into that site's software.
* Sorted display of upcoming tournaments from the most popular poker sites
* Filters by site and stakes allow users to zero in only on games that interest them
* Detailed information on each tournament is available
"Many online players have accounts with multiple sites and choose where to play based on the best action at that time" said Kyle Davis, BigSprocket's founder and self-proclaimed "head geek." "Normally, it's a manual process to see what's happening on each site. Tourneys allows players to see, at a glance, all the upcoming tournaments at their favorite online poker sites, so they know when and where to log in. The details provided by the site (such as prize guarantees, rebuy/addon availability, etc.) are displayed for the player so they can make the best decision where to spend their time."
Tourneys consolidates schedules published to the Internet by major poker sites. Currently, Tourneys supports Full Tilt, Ultimate Bet, Absolute Poker, Pokerstars, Party Poker and Bodog. "The major sites are covered; we're talking to a number of smaller sites to get their data too," said Davis.
* iPhone or iPod touch 3.0 or later
Pricing and Availability:
Tourneys 1.1 is $2.99 (USD), and is available worldwide exclusively through the iTunes App Store in the Entertainment category. Review copies are available upon request. Online poker sites not already supported by Tourneys are encouraged to contact Davis for inclusion in the next release.
