[prMac.com] Viderea, Inc. has announced its TruView technology which allows users to virtually tour cities in 3D from their mobile devices. TruView allows users to fly freely over photorealistic and geographically accurate scenery. Viderea's TruView technology platform will enable a new generation of Reality Based Applications - apps that seamlessly blend reality and virtual reality.

Viderea demonstrated TruView with a preview video of "X Invasion 2", a 3D arcade game for the iPhone/iPod platform. In "Campaign Mode", players must defend San Francisco from an invasion of aliens and UFOs. In "Tour Mode", users can take a virtual tour of San Francisco.

Viderea released the following description of X Invasion 2: San Francisco is under attack from an invasion of aliens and UFOs - Get in your Corsair and save the city from attack!

* Campaign Mode with over 15 missions of nonstop action that will test your flying ability, dogfighting prowess, bombing runs, and of course, a gigantic Mothership.
* Arcade Mode. Blast your way to infamy on the integrated high score list
* Tour Mode where you can relax and explore the San Francisco Bay Area. See something interesting? You can take a picture of it and even share it with your friends!
* Multiple planes for you to pilot as you progress through the levels.
* Unique alien ships with varying levels of flying and shooting ability.
( Simple and intuitive flight controls that let you spend more time playing the game, not learning difficult interfaces.

X Invasion 2 is expected to be available Winter 2009 on the App Store.
