[prMac.com] Waretown, NJ - Announcing that Deep Powder Software, the developers of the Pro Poker Log for iPhone and iPod Touch users, has launched an app for the recording and analyzing of previous games for the purpose of improving the winning odds of future plays.
Deep Powder Software intentionally created the application to go more in-depth for game analysis than any other app of its kind. From personal experience, owner Gordon F. Craig knew that there was a great deal to be learned from strategies used in past plays, "I came to realize that the only way to become a winning player and make any money was to keep a log of wins, loses and notes from every game. Then a player can analyze how he plays and constantly learn from his own style".
The app tracks and organizes playing times, location, blinds, rakes and tournament fees, as well as the amount of money won or lost. It also features a graph to show progress over a specified period of time. Stats can be emailed and are automatically backed up when the iDevice is synced with iTunes.
Although Pro Poker Log records details and does calculations, it has a simple interface which makes it easy for anyone to use. If a user does happen to run into a problem, there is direct link to the tutorial page. Using Pro Poker Log as a learning tool to improve odds seems to have already caught the attention of many poker enthusiasts.
