[prMac.com] Vancouver, Washington - Grizzly, the smash hit teddy bear street fighter Mac game is now available on the iPhone and iPod touch! Grizzly was originally released for the Mac in 1995, featured in over 12 magazines worldwide, and earned 5/5 mice from MacUser. After 14 years in hiding, Grizzly is back and he's ready for some serious stuffing beatdown!
"We gave Grizzly a major overhaul", said Adam Winiecki. "Everything except the innermost core of Grizzly was looked over and recreated. The players stand huge on the screen and the iPhone delivers an amazing 60fps".
Grizzly features six awesome characters, a dozen different attack moves per player, throw moves and a combo system. Players each have three special moves - unleash shadow kicks, spinning attacks, spit hairballs, throw heads, disappear, and more. To keep the game exciting, Grizzly will unlock instructions on how to perform the special moves as you win the tournaments.
More characters will be added to Grizzly as well. "Reinhard the Rhino was added just a week after Grizzly 1.0.0 was released. We have a lot more characters in store - a panther, a monkey, a komodo dragon just for starters, although I'm not making any promises yet as to which one will appear next", said Adam Winiecki. Grizzly is now at version 1.0.1.
