in Medical (E)

[] Paris, France - Independent developer Stephane Queraud today announced The Pill 2.0 for iPhone devices. Hundreds of women are already using The Pill. Available in 12 languages, The Pill is a birth control pill reminder for iphone. This application, 100% for women, sends a push notification alert (like a sms) every day to remember to take the pill, days are automatically calculated (21 days and the 7 days stop period, or 28 days pack). A graphical representation of the pack also help the user to see how their real pack should look like. This version includes a lot of new features: 4 different packs, customize sounds and background color, request additional alert, email alert, discrete mode.

Ask this simple question to any woman: "Have you ever forgotten to take your birth control pill?" the answer is almost always yes. The Pill is here to help them. The Pill is very simple to use, and offer a lot of information: count down showing when will be the next notification, a full graphical representation of the pack, advices of what to do if ever a pill has been forgotten. Another little advice we like to give: take your pill in the morning, if ever you forget, it won't be too late to take it during the day (it's often more than 12 hours late if you forget to take it in the evening). Keep in mind that you need to enable the push notifications on your phone and be connected on internet.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone 3.0 or later

Pricing and Availability:
The Pill 2.0 is only $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Medicine category.
