[prMac.com] Mahe, Seychelles - Internet Marketing LTD has released My Speedster 1.0, their GPS-based Racer application for iPhone devices. All of us want to know what is the fastest car in the world. And what is more curious: where in the world does it drive. We tried to compete in iPhone’s GPS Racer to the world best drivers having BMW 120d - we thought it is good, but what we discovered it is not the best in this urban GPS game. Not even in Top 10 ... Sounds unbelievable, eh?
Having iPhone with My Speedster application everyone can set his record in two categories: 0-100 kmph acceleration and 400 m run. And check his position in the world Standings. Do you think some Ferrari leading the list? Noooo..way! Let us see what are the best of the best drivers (and cars) of 2009:
Best 0-100 kmph (0-60 mph) goes to Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe from Canada: 10,186 seconds. This guy took just sixth place in 400m by the way. The second place in 0-100 goes to Ford Fairlane from Australia which has just half a second gap from the first place. And the third is Dodge Neon from USA couple of seconds behind that Ford. Fourth place - Peugeot 207cc (wow!) somewhere in the border of Netherlands and Germany. And the fifth - Opel Speedster from Germany. In 400m competition the ranking looks more reasonable. The leader is Mercedes Class B from Italy, the second place belongs to Volkswagen Golf IV (Germany) and the third to Renault Clio RS (Netherlands)
* iPhone 3.0 or later
