[prMac.com] Sacramento, CA - A new app by developer Paul Wood is available in iTunes for the Soccer enthusiast. SoccerON is not a Soccer game, but a useful and portable tool that allows anyone in the Soccer playing community to track a variety of different stats about themselves, their team, or their children. It's unique GPS and photo features make it a one of a kind tool in the Soccer community.
"My entire family is involved in Soccer" said Paul, when asked why he developed this particular application. "When they found out I was developing iPhone applications, this was the first thing they requested. We looked at what was currently available, and determined that a Soccer app like this was sorely needed."
Packed with features, the application is useful for any level of Soccer enthusiast. Coaches will enjoy the ability to keep track of an entire teams roster and season including games and practices, and players and their fans will love that individual statistics can be added. The information is stored and accessible throughout the season.
Soccer ON is the only Soccer statistics app of its kind in the US iTunes store to include two essential features:
* Photo Management - not only can you keep track of all of your game statistics in one place, but you can quickly take photos from within the app and tie them to the current game. Photos can also be added from your phones image library.
* GPS Tools - Soccer ON allows you to create your own database of event locations for games, practices or meetings, and tag them with GPS so you never again forget where the field is!
Additional features are already in the works, including the addition of a Quick Score function, the ability to package and email a set of game stats and a Spanish translation for the Hispanic community.
* iPhone or 2nd Generation iPod Touch 3.0 or later
Pricing and Availability:
Soccer ON 1.0 is only $3.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Sports category.
