May 10, 2013 - Indie developer Joshua Wood is proud to announce Flag it! is a new iPhone app designed to allow users to easily identify world flags. Designed by a student from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, the student developer had the idea for the app a long time ago but didn't have the skills to create it. So instead of leaving the idea go to waste, he decided to learn how to make apps and make it! Little did he know making apps would lead to a new addiction and now he can't give it up!

Mar 15, 2013 - SellanApp is proud to announce StudyPic is the winner of the first SellanApp Live app idea contest. The StudyPic iOS app demonstrates how SellanApp allows everyone to have their app idea transformed into a real, revenue generating app, without their own funds or development skills. Since SellanApp went public beta last November, 6 out of 8 app ideas published have been successfully funded, resulting in a success-rate of 75%. Studypic was part of this set.

Plasma Party extends a simple "lights out" game concept, using multiple iOS devices to spread the gameplay onto several screens. Up to 16 devices can be combined into one playing surface. The two-person team won prizes for "Most Innovative Idea" and "Best Use of Mobile" at the hackathon, which challenged entrants to create an original game in just 24 hours.
