Second Gear releases Today 1.1 with support for calendar filtering

May 12, 2008 - Second Gear is pleased to announce the release of Today 1.1, the Mac OS X application for managing iCal events and tasks. Version 1.1 introduces several new features and enhancements based on user feedback. Users can now filter what calendars are visible in Today. Several changes have been made to event and task creation. By default new events are created on the date selected in Today. Users can also assign a location to new events.

In this new version, users can create references directly from the PDF files they already have, as well as new PDFs that they receive from colleagues. This version also adds the ability to create complete references by entering only an ISBN, DOI or other common identifier. Sente uses Google Scholar, the Library of Congress and PubMed to create complete references when importing a new PDF.
