[prMac.com] New Rochelle, NY - GiftsToDo is the first in a line of AppsToDo applications for the iPhone and iPod touch by independent developer, Michael Quillinan. GiftsToDo stands out from other gift list apps with its simple and complete design. It was created to solve a common problem for gift giving - keeping track of great gift ideas throughout the year for all occasions.
With GiftsToDo, users can record that perfect gift for someone when they're shopping, even if it's 6 months until their Birthday. Open GiftsToDo, take a pic, add a description and select the person it's for. That's all there is to it. Now, when GiftsToDo shows an alert that their Birthday is only 30 days away, they're all set. Select the event and get taken right to that great gift idea.
GiftsToDo's flexibility begins with a simple import of the gift recipients right from the iPhone contacts list. Contacts' photo and all of their dates get imported too. If they're not in contacts, users can add them manually (particularly useful for kids' names). They enter their name, take a pic or use a picture already on their iPhone or iPod touch.
The gift list feature is comprehensive - add a description, photo, price, and even select a store from their custom store list. In the Gifts tab, shopping lists are available for emailing to a friend or family member with just one click - instant wish list.
With GiftsToDo, tracking recurring, shared and one-off events, gift recipients' interests, clothing sizes and even budgets are a snap. Users can also manage a history of past events and gifts purchases with a Receipt feature. If users need some inspiration, they can search the web for gift pricing and store information right within the app.
