[prMac.com] Graz, Austria - The latest major release of Firetask, the most innovative task management app for the iPhone and iPod touch, now allows for flagging of next tasks. In contrast to earlier versions, Firetask's unique "Today" view does not only show the first unscheduled task together with all due tasks, but also all flagged tasks in their defined order. This provides GTD(R) practitioners with much more precise control of their next task lists.
The second major change of Firetask 3.0 is a totally redesigned, more natural task list user interface. The previously combined priority-and-status control gives way to a new dedicated status control to the very left in each task list, clearly separated by a vertical orange line. The creators of Firetask believe that the new task list UI will provide for an even clearer and more effective GTD(R) task management experience. In addition, it more closely resembles the user interface of the upcoming desktop application for Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Furthermore, Firetask now takes full advantage of the new possibilities of iOS 4 as well as the new iPhone 4 hardware. The new version supports fast app switching and includes a complete set of high-resolution images making Firetask look great on the iPhone 4's retina display. Last but not least, release 3.0 prepares the iPhone version also for syncing with the Firetask desktop application that is due to be released later this Summer.
