[prMac.com] Boston, Massachusetts - Mediasilo, the online asset management and collaboration platform, has announced the release of a native iPad Application. Continuing MediaSilo's commitment to developing mobile software, the application allows for on-the-go production, and the ability to access assets anytime, anywhere.
"In video production, the iPad is everywhere now," said Kai Pradel, MediaSilo CTO. "It seemed a natural fit with MediaSilo."
The iPad App 1.0 offers a mobile dailies solution, and an instant review and approval process. MediaSilo users will be able access assets already in current workspaces on the iPad. Proxies are automatically created for each uploaded file, and synchronization isn't necessary. Future versions of the iPad app will include the ability to download content for offline viewing, tag selection, comments, and quicklinks.
Customize MediaSilo to match your brand. Change login graphics, emails, use your own mail server, and choose custom URL's. MediaSilo's private label option removes any and all mentions of MediaSilo and lets you run your very own video content management and collaboration platform.
The iPad application can be found in the App store and is available to subscribing Mediasilo customers. For more information or to learn about MediaSilo's pricing and plans, please visit MediaSilo online.
