[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Tam & Tao in Numberland, the Montessori number app for pre-K children will be featured in App Friday on the 14th of January. On this occasion, the iPhone only version will be going for free and the HD version will be at half price. It's a great opportunity to download this app listed in Education's "10 Great iPad Apps for Preschoolers"
Tam & Tao in Numberland has been featured in:
* Children's Technology Review
* The iPhone Mom
* Fun Educational Apps
* Apps 4 kids
* Giggle apps
* The iPad girl
This app is beautifully designed and takes children through a journey in Numberland with the twin heroes Tam & Tao. There are ten scenes, each one almost being a piece of art in itself. In each number scene your child will be able to count and practice writing the numbers. With each number, he/she will also be able to use Montessori Material; the number rods for numbers 1 to 9 and the spindles for the 0. The Montessori method relies on autonomy and self-confidence. It is a very concrete approach to learning that utilizes all of our senses and respects individual rhythms.
Moms With Apps is a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families. Every Friday, Moms With Apps promotes one or more educational and family-friendly app. This week, Tam & Tao in Numberland, the app developed by Montessori teachers which is available in English and French, will be specially priced. To find it quickly just type Montessori in the search area and you will find it, it's the one with the big red five.
Les Trois Elles started with three friends, Marilyne, Valerie and Gael. Marilyne has a PhD in Literature, Valerie and Gael both hold a Masters degree in Business Administration. Gael has been working in the Marketing department of a major Luxury brand for 10 years. Marilyne and Valerie changed their career paths and became Montessori teachers. All three of them are convinced that the Montessori Method is extremely comprehensive. Impressed by their own children's reaction to this method, they wanted to make it accessible to a larger number of children. Their objective: develop new learning tools via iPad/iPhone that are easy and safe to use. Copyright (C) 2011 Les Trois Elles Interactive. All Rights Reserved.
