[prMac.com] Lakeville, Minnesota - Viet Tran, the independent mobile application developer behind Notes Plus has announced that a newly updated version of his popular productivity iPad app has just been launched. The centerpiece of Notes Plus version 2.2's improvements is the app's implementation of a complete folder structure. The app's recording feature has also been altered to allow users to keep recording audio even if they exit out of the app itself, while the app's skin and icon designs were redesigned. Offering a greater level of usability than it ever has, Note Plus 2.2 for the iPad is currently available for download on the Apple App Store for $5.99.
As has been the case in the past, most of the updates included in Notes Plus 2.2 were implemented as direct responses to consumer feedback and functionality requests. To satiate the ever evolving demands of its user base, Notes Plus 2.2 now comes equipped with folder implementation. Due to its sophisticated nature, giving the app a folder structure ensures that users are able to maintain and organize their notes and other work effectively. Folder implementation in Notes Plus means that users can now separate their notes by topic, create unlimited sub-folders within, and move or copy notebooks and folders freely throughout the app. Notebooks and folder can be locked as read-only, and error checks are offered to ensure that users never accidentally delete folders of content they still need. Users can also create password-protected folders to store private information without worry.
Background recording is the second main feature newly introduced in Notes Plus 2.2. This enhancement offers users much more flexibility when using the app's audio recording function, as the can continue an active recording even if they exit the application and begin using another one. This update was implemented after popular appeal from professionals and students who needed the ability to take audio notes during meetings and lectures without disturbing their colleagues. All reported bugs have been resolved as well, while Notes Plus' user interface skin and app icon received a timely facelift based on user feedbacks to make the mobile tool itself as pleasing to the eye as possible. Notes Plus version 2.2 represents another step forward for the productivity tool that was already been pushed to its own users to exceed both customer and industry expectations.
