[prMac.com] Prenton, United Kingdom - Developer Wonky Woo Games has just released to the App Store What Am I Farm 1.0 for the Apple iPhone, following on from the popular iPad version. Join us for lots of farm-ily fun. Building on the foundation of What am I...Pets the Farm edition features five farm animals in four different game modes. It's simple, it's cute, it's entertaining, and more importantly, it's educational and perfect for parents focused on gently introducing their children to farm animals through the world of technology.
What am I...Farm games modes include:
Sheep shear- in this mini game you have sixty seconds to shear as many sheep as you can by wiping your finger over the sheep's coat to shear or remove its coat. Utilizing the iPhone tilting functionality you tilt the iPhone either left or right to move the sheep and the wool clippings to get your next sheep. Helps develop hand and eye co-ordination. Also includes local and OpenFient leader boards to encourage players to beat their previous score.
Peeka - in this mini game you asked to find a specific animal on the farm. You scroll across the screen to find the correct animal. You have to find the correct animal before proceeding to the next question. Some animals are easier to find than others! Helps teach different animals names and noises. Mixed Up the objective is to get the correct combination of head, body and feet for a given character to complete its imagery by context of visual and audiovisual cues.
Matching - in this mini game you have sixty seconds to match as many animals as you can by dragging the Farm animal on the left to its matching image on the right. This helps develop hand to eye co-ordination as well as learn the names of the different farm animals. Also includes local and OpenFient leader boards to encourage players to beat their previous score.
What am I ...Farm has taken all the best bits of What am I...Pets and What am I ...Christmas with the first two games modes and built on this solid foundation to create some stimulating yet simple games. Following up on feedback from the previous releases, improvements have been made to the game play and the inclusion of local and online leaderboards for the Matching and Sheep Shear games will encourage users to better their high scores and play against a wider audience! The new game modes are well designed and thought through; are fun to play for both kids and adults.
