[prMac.com] Orlando, Florida - Holderness Media Inc. today is pleased to announce the release of The Landwhale 1.0 for iPad devices. The Landwhale for iPad is a music release formatted for iPad featuring tracks from The Landwhale's self-titled EP, as well as three bonus tracks featured in the brand new game "Dawjuh Ball" for iOS and Mac OS X.
Additionally, users can remix and rearrange 2 songs by The Landwhale by triggering loops and samples from each song in realtime. The Landwhale app offers high-quality audio and an easy-to-use interface.
The Landwhale's self-titled EP features introspective, atmospheric electronic music that spans genres from 80s synth-pop to contemporary dubstep. Vocal samples are twisted into deep, haunting tones that blend seamlessly with lush, moody soundscapes.
The music is simultaneously ambient and beat-oriented, merging other-worldly textures and dense rhythmic patterns in a style that recalls Aphex Twin, Radiohead and Burial.
"Gritty bass, spacey guitars, pitch-shifted vocals, and dreamy beats are just a few of the essential elements of The Landwhale's sound. There are no holds barred here; all sounds are considered when one doesn't confine themselves to a genre and instead goes for a mood like they do, unleashing something chill, melancholic, contemplative, and slightly dark upon the world."
