[prMac.com] Fairport, New York - Zwirlz, Inc., the kid-power video game company, announces a groundbreaking interactive game application for girls that is unlike anything else on the market. Zwirlz(TM) is a portable game available on the iPod touch(R), iPhone(R), and iPad(R), where players actually get up and move. In a mobile market dominated by phone-focused, finger-tapping games, Zwirlz kids can perform the real-world interactive game alone or with friends.
"Zwirlz looks to empower girls, both mentally and physically," says Co-founder and CEO, Jennifer Shanley. "It engages them in a fun physical activity, while they socialize, create, and play together."
Using the mobile device as a tool for design, customization, instruction, content, and scoring, Zwirlz players stand up and perform the real world physical game alone or with friends. Since Zwirlz is mobile, girls can take it with them wherever they go, indoors or out.
Priced at ninety-nine cents and designed for girls aged six to twelve, each content-packed Zwirlz game allows the user to store additional Zwirlz moves, songs, trophies, and extras. An animated girl sings, performs, and rocks the customizable moves. Zwirlz encourages girls to expand on their play by creating Zwirlz Clubs, Zwirlz Showz, Zwirlz Contests, and even Zwirlz Birthday Parties. Kids get to be game designers, creating their own routines using the expandable collection of Flipz moves. Zwirlz is the active, girl-power, fun-with-friends game that embraces the spunky, girly-girl in all of us.
