[prMac.com] Agoura Hills, CA - Creative Planet's Digital Production BuZZ, one of the world's longest-running and most successful interactive internet talk radio shows, featuring news and information on digital video production, post-production and distribution, is celebrating its 200th broadcast on October 16, 2008. The weekly one-hour show began in December of 2005 and has been broadcasting non-stop ever since.
The Digital Production BuZZ family will kick off their birthday party with a celebration originating from Los Angeles with live feeds from Boston on Thursday, October 16, 2008, 6 p.m.-7 p.m. PT. Executive producer and host Larry Jordan will be live from the Boston Final Cut Pro Users Group with Loren Miller, while BuZZ producer Cirina Catania will be in Los Angeles with co-hosts Michael Horton and Philip Hodgetts. Guests, fans, and friends of the show as well as filmmakers, broadcast professionals and other industry elite will be dropping by via telephone and paying tribute to their favorite digital tech show.
Executive producer and host of the Digital Production BuZZ is Larry Jordan (internationally-renowned digital media expert, Apple-certified trainer, author, and member of the Directors Guild of America and Producers Guild of America). Michael Horton co-hosts (film editor and founder of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group) and Cirina Catania produces (writer/producer/director, Untold Stories from the ER, Southern Steel, Mi3 Collector's Edition DVD, MSN and Chivas Regal's This is the Life campaign).

The weekly show began in December of 2005 as the DV Guys, which morphed into Digital Production BuZZ under the guidance of producer/host Philip Hodgetts (CEO, Intelligent Assistance). The series was purchased by Larry Jordan and Associates, Inc., in November of 2007. Hodgetts remains a regular and valued contributor to the Digital Production BuZZ along with Bruce Nazarian (president of the DVD Association), Stacey Parks (CEO, FilmSpecific) and Jonathan Handel (entertainment attorney, Troy Gould).
