[prMac.com] Pwllheli, United Kingdom - Carl Jones announces ZombieGP 4.0, for iOS devices. Carl Jones releases the first zombie based racing game to emerge from new Welsh studio at Pwllheli. A monumental day for rural games development, proving that you don't need to be a giant city based game studio to produce fun, innovative mobile games.
Inspired by the classic top-down racing games from his childhood, Zombie GP is easy to pick-up-and-play by all ages. Simply race around the track, avoid obstacles (and often brutal CPU players) in a bid to earn your freedom.
Racing takes place at day initially, but that soon changes to night once you've completed the day tracks for an additional challenge. With three difficulty levels, this game is sure to keep you racing for ages, until the real zombies are released onto the world anyway :)
"I started writing games on a C64 at the young age of 10, mostly because I didn't have a tape player with it to load them :p And the magazines in those days were always full of great listings to type in. Things progressed somewhat with the arrival of the Amiga, I used to spend days writing games on that platform using AMOS.
Unfortunately once I graduated from University and got a 'real' job, game programming became a distant memory. But recently I've been really captivated by iOS gaming and so decided it was time to re-kindle my passion for game development"
Zombie GP is the first of many games, already working on 2 new titles (1 of which will be entirely in Welsh), expect great things to emerge from this new studio.
