[prMac.com] Crows Nest, Australia - Coca-Cola Amatil, a leading global non-alcoholic beverage bottler, has today announced the launch of Formula for iPhone, and iPod touch devices running on iOS 4.0 or later. Formula is a creative new mobile bartending app built to provide anyone working within the hospitality industry - or those simply interested in mixing drinks - the power to access practical information and train themselves to master the art of serving beer, coffee, spirits, and soft drinks on the go. The app employs videos, imagery, and accompanying text to help educate users - all of which can be accessed quickly by users regardless of whether they work at a bar, hotel, restaurant, or cafe. Formula is currently available for download on the Apple App Store for $0.99 in the Lifestyle category.
Formula contains over 50 videos and 200 images that are all laid easily and conveniently enough for users to access whenever and wherever they'd like. The application includes a vast array of diversely helpful drink beverage serving information. Topics range from how to make professional quality coffee and maintain consistency when mixing drinks, to popular bar tricks for entertaining guests, a fundamental overview of beer, and more. Furthermore, a great deal of the information included in this app is perfect for helping leisurely mixing enthusiasts learn how to make better cocktails and coffee, or brush up on their beers from home or anywhere else!
John Murphy, Managing Director of the Licensed Division at CCA, helped to clarify why it was so important for the organization to create the app, stating that "We spent a lot of time and invested significantly in this application because of the strong feedback we received from our customers, who told us that they wanted 'zero brand paraphernalia' practical training information delivered in a mobile, easy to understand format".
A good deal of the content available in the app was provided by the much esteemed Mixxit beverage team, something which ensures Formula contains a level of educational content that is simply unmatched by any other beverage mixing app. As Jason Crawley, a member of team Mixxit, explains, "FORMULA is packed full of relevant, useful and engaging information that bar, restaurant, club or hotel staff at any level will find useful, we hope you enjoy it!"
Coca-Cola has also stated that an Android compatible version of Formula is due to be released later in the year. For further information, please visit the Formula page, search 'Formula Mixxit' in the Apple App Store, or email us.
