plasq Announces Fund Raising Campaign for The Girl Effect

[] Charleston, South Carolina - In the spirit of giving plasq is teaming up with The Girl Effect(R) to support their global efforts. For one week during this holiday season plasq will donate 25% of individual sales to The Girl Effect.

"Our software is used around the world for fun and learning," said Robert Grant, plasq's CEO. "We thought it would be nice to give back to the global community so we decided to support this extremely important initiative."

The Girl Effect organization promotes education and support of girls and young women, focusing on the long term effects of these efforts. With research showing that investing in girls leads to overall improvement in the community, this is an important effort to educate and provide opportunities where it counts.

During the promotional period, November 28 - December 5 2011, plasq will donate 25% of their individual software sale revenue to The Girl Effect. While plasq has made a number of ad-hoc donations of software to worthy educational establishments over the years this is their first formal fund-raising collaboration.

How To Join The Effort
The Comic Life Girl Effect fundraiser is operating from November 28 to December 5 2011 and applies to every individual Comic Life purchase made through the iTunes App Store or plasq online store during this period.
