[prMac.com] Paris, France - Announcing that Jean-Eudes Lepelletier today released Tapikeo 2.0 for iPhone and Tapikeo HD 2.0 and iPad users. Tapikeo allows users and their children to easily and quickly create their own audio-enabled picturebooks, storyboards, visual schedules, audio flashcards, and more using a versatile grid style layout.
Children think they're just having fun but they are also actually learning a lot! For each element in a grid, users simply select a picture (from library or with camera) , record a sound or comment, and if they want, add a short text. Then, everytime a picture is tapped, the the sound attached to it will go off.
The usage possibilities are endless: create a story from scratch based on real objects, toys or people, digitize the favorite books from kids so that they can listen to the stories read by their beloved ones, traditional picture books about whatever themes, saving pictures and voices from all family members in order to maintain proximity for the kids when living far away, learning how to name objects in another language etc.
Users can save all the grids they created onto their computer or share them by mail. They can also import for free all the grids available on Tapikeo's website. No need to spend money each time they want want to play with a new grid.
