[prMac.com] Nashville, Tennessee - Giving gamers a new way to play with their food, Mezmo Media today is thrilled to announce the launch of Chopstick Flick, its latest casual game for iPhone and iPad that challenges players to slide their sushi rolls closer to the wasabi than their opponents. Inspired by a fateful dinner at a local sushi restaurant, Chopstick Flick is an original mix of skill, aim, and plain luck as players bounce their sushi off obstacles and each other in the race to be closest.
Chopstick Flick also comes with a free bonus game, Bowl With a Roll, inside the app. This unique twist on bowling involves rolling sushi down the table in order to knock down as many soy sauce bottles as possible.
"Mezmo Media is known for games that are easy to learn and hard to put down," said Christopher Rioux, Founder of Mezmo Media. "With two deliciously fun games, Chopstick Flick is no exception."
In Chopstick Flick, players choose their favorite sushi roll, aim their chopsticks, and then launch the food across the table. Whoever lands their sushi closest to the wasabi ball is declared the winner. Gamers may choose to play against their iPhone/iPad or a friend for multiplayer action.
Gameplay is simple: Chef Octopus tosses out the wasabi ball and players move their rice bowls up or down into position, then twist their chopsticks back and release in order to flick their sushi down the table.
A piece of sushi that falls off the table is forfeit, so clever players may attempt to bounce their opponent's sushi out of the way and hopefully off the edge. There are also obstacles scattered across the table in the form of soy sauce bottles.
Players may select from 10 bite-sized pieces of sushi, rolls, or sashimi and adjust the game's difficulty based on how many soy sauce bottles are on the table.
People who download Chopstick Flick also receive a special bonus game in the app. Bowl With a Roll captures the fun of bowling and combines it with sushi. The goal is to roll a piece of sushi down the table to knock over as many bottles of soy sauce as possible. Players may play against a computer opponent or with a friend.
