[prMac.com] Irvine, California - MobilityWare announces Spider Solitaire Free 2.1.1 for iOS devices. As part of the Amazon Appstore for Android's first birthday, Amazon revealed their 10 most popular apps in the paid and free categories. MobilityWare's Solitaire ranked 3rd on the Top Free Apps list, which was compiled over the last 12 months, coming in just behind Angry Birds Free and the Netflix app.
"It is impressive for our Solitaire to be ranked so highly on this list," said Otto Chan, MobilityWare. "We're even more excited considering that our app has only been in the Amazon Appstore for less than six months," added Chan.
The success of MobilityWare's Solitaire is not only limited to the Amazon Appstore. Their Solitaire is currently also the #1 Solitaire on the Android Market and the iTunes(R) App Store and was recently featured on Apple's Top 25 Free Apps of All Time.
"We owe a lot of our success to our incredible group of fans. They are the ones who download our apps, play them, and leave great reviews, said Chan, "We couldn't have done it without them."
Solitaire is currently available for free in the Amazon Appstore, the Android Market, and the iTunes App Store.
MobilityWare is always continuing to develop new applications for iOS and Android devices, adding to an already impressive catalog. Head to the Products page on MobilityWare website to view their library of applications, many of which are free for download.
