[prMac.com] Annapolis, Maryland - gWhiz LLC, a leading provider of mobile educational apps, today announced the release of PrepZilla, a free test prep app designed to turn studying into a game, quite literally. PrepZilla users can study on their own or review testing material by inviting their friends to play along.
gWhiz co-founder Kevin Reville says, "There's just nothing out there like PrepZilla. It leverages the multiplayer "play-when-you-want" game style that apps like "Words With Friends" made popular, and combines it with the best test prep content available from leading educational publishers". He continues, "We call PrepZilla 'Serious Fun', because students know they have to work hard to get good test scores, and our app gives them an effective, but entertaining, path to get there. No other mobile education app offers this kind of innovative approach for test prep students."
Users can choose questions from a growing library of premium content from leading publishers including McGraw-Hill, Barron's, CCI, and Florida Virtual School. Topics include content for AP (Advanced Placement), GRE, CNOR, NBDE, USMLE, NCLEX-RN, Security , Algebra, and basic math subjects. And with more titles added regularly, test takers are sure to find something of interest.
The inaugural release of PrepZilla is available today on iOS (iPhone/iPod/iPad) through iTunes. Download of the app is free as is a limited number of questions in each topic within the library. For in-depth review, more questions are available for purchase directly through the app itself.
