[prMac.com] Amersfoort, Netherlands - Independent publisher RumdeeDum celebrates their second birthday with a special present for all our fans. Through the 15th of July 2012, download Ziggy's Present - a picture puzzle app for kids based on the characters of Dutch author Mylo Freeman - for free. Starting 16 July 2012, the app will cost .99.
The updated version of Ziggy's Present provides even more interactivity and puzzles for kids 4-10 with new challenges and storylines and the ability to play each other against the clock. In addition, users can choose to play the puzzles in the dark and solve them using in-app flashlights - the perfect activity for a summertime sleepover.
Ziggy's Present was originally released earlier this year and follows the journey of the royal dog Ziggy as he tries to find out who has left a present in the palace. While searching for the owner of the gift, Ziggy meets the King and Queen, the Princesses and Footman. In each palace room children help Ziggy by searching for hidden pictures. When all the pictures are found children can proceed to the next picture puzzle.
"Offering Ziggy's Present to our fans on our second birthday seemed like a perfect way to celebrate!" said Roger ter Heide, founder of RumdeeDum. "Along with Princess Arabella and Your Adventure, Ziggy's Present is a wonderful example of great storytelling from our favorite Dutch authors and illustrators."
RumdeeDum's newly updated Ziggy's Present - Picture Puzzles is one of three apps for kids 4-10 and follows Your Adventure - Maze Adventure and Pricess Arabella Wants to Play, which received 4 Stars from Common Sense Media.
