[prMac.com] Boston, Massachusetts - Twindocs International Services announces the release of its free mobile app, Twindocs. The new app joins the company's website and desktop software program in allowing people to store and access important files from anywhere - online, on computers, and on mobile devices.
One of the most interesting features of Twindocs is that users can literally "print" documents directly to their account. Using Twindocs Tools, a desktop software program for Windows or Mac computers, users are able to use Twindocs as a virtual printer (instead of using a physical printer), which is a more secure, cost effective, and environmentally friendly solution.
To make sending, receiving, and archiving important documents easier, Twindocs allows users to staple many files together as one and send them securely. Even large files that in the past were difficult to share with friends, colleagues, or clients can now be sent with the app on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
"Twindocs is the perfect substitute to keeping your papers in a shoebox or drawer," said Gabriel Marro, Founder of Twindocs International Services. "It's a revolutionary approach to archiving documents in the cloud that has not been done in this way before."
Designed for both business and personal use, Twindocs can be used to send any type of document in any format including Microsoft Word, JPEG images, PDF files, and many more. Users can even take a photograph of tickets from inside the app and archive them for safekeeping. In addition, the app offers an "Open with Twindocs" feature, which will upload any file attached to an email or downloaded from the internet.
In the past, sending multiple documents - especially large files - was a hassle. Files would need to be attached to an email individually, and large files could not be easily sent or received. Twindocs solves this problem by allowing users to "staple" together multiple files and send them all together in one convenient package without the need for attachments.
Sending files through regular email is not secure and may not reach its recipient, but Twindocs was designed as the safe and reliable alternative. Transmitted data is always encrypted to ensure files are secure. Also, using Twindocs to send documents avoids the problem of spam filters and senders can ask for a delivery receipt.
"Twindocs is the only stapler in the cloud," Gabriel Marro said. "You can upload documents, staple them, and send all together - it's quick, easy, and secure."
Users can drag and drop notes, photos, and documents to upload them to Twindocs. Files can be sent to anyone with an email address. Recipients who do not have a Twindocs account will receive an email inviting them to register for free. After documents are accepted, they are transferred into the recipient's account. Also, entire folders can be shared or subscribed to.
With the Twindocs app, users can access all of the documents in their account from almost anywhere. Files can be viewed on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device without the worry of forgetting a document at the office or losing an important file if the device is stolen.
Twindocs also serves as a convenient archive in the cloud, safeguarding important documents. To keep files organized, users can create custom folders, use colored tags, and add notes. Documents can be found quickly using the search feature, which is even able to search text inside of documents.
Twindocs also acts as a secure postal service for companies that send documents to customers. In some countries, companies are using the system to deliver invoices, receipts, and other documents.
