[prMac.com] Sydney, Australia - Otium Interactions is proud to announce Find The Kidz 1.11 for iOS. The unique notification system notifies parents when their child arrives or leaves selected 'Known Locations' or when their child ventures outside a selected 'Safe Zone' in addition to displaying the child's location on a map.
Parents are able to set the 'Safe Zone' (within which they feel comfortable for a child to 'roam') and up to two 'Known Locations' within the app, giving them the ability to enforce clear boundaries for their children.
Parents can also receive notification when a child loses network coverage, re-establishes network coverage or deletes their parent's connection.
The app works by connecting (like pairing) a child's smartphone with that of their parent's. Only authorised parties can be connected with the child's app. Once connected a parent is able to access a child's location immediately.
Up to five child smartphones can be connected with that of the parent. The Find the Kidz app starts recording the location automatically when the phone is switched on giving parents access to the current location.
Given the sensitive nature of the information provided by Find the Kidz, the app has been developed with a high level of security to ensure the privacy and security of data. All communication with the Find the Kidz server is secured with the same technology used to secure billions of e-commerce sales each year. Additionally, the use of a unique Device ID ensures that no personal data is collected.
There are no ongoing fees associated with the app - once installed a parent can continue to use it and add children for as long as desired.
At an introductory price of only $2.99 USD, Find the Kidz can be downloaded from the iTunes or Google Play store.
